Dr. Kulsoom Malik – Registered Psychologist
Originally from the UK, Dr. Kulsoom Malik brings over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health to Nova Scotia. After earning her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Birmingham, she has dedicated herself to supporting individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including eating disorders, trauma, and panic attacks. In 2022, Dr. Malik founded J&K Mental Health, and in less than two years, has built a passionate team of over 15 therapists offering both in-person and virtual therapy in Ontario. She is now starting her practice in Nova Scotia.

Bachelor of Science Honours from City University, London, UK: Majored in Psychology, with a focus on Mental Health and Statistics

Outside of her work, Dr. Malik enjoys spending time with her family. Married to a “foodie” with a love for hosting dinner parties, she is known for her signature “Chicken Karahi” dish. Her four kids keep her busy with their adventurous spirit. You will often see her debating whether a cookie is actually a “biscuit”.
